The construction of this hotel is not concluded and what you can see now is a structure of three levels, which we like to call double A, because it uses the stones of the region of Atitlán and several elements of Antigua Guatemala intensively. The stones come from the underground of the place where the hotel has been built on but carved by skillful specialists of this region. This structure represents the colonial period of Guatemala.

In the center there is a stone-carved structure that looks like the church of the town, which welcomes the reception and restaurant. It is foreseen that in three years a Mayan temple of three levels is built to create other rooms.

In you room you will appreciate a mat fused in the ceiling. The tables, seats, doors, beds, clothiers are original and exclusive of Uxlabil.

The hotel has been built basically with carved stone coming from the same place. The carved in stone is a millennial art still preserved by population Mayan-tzutuhil that inhabits this region. The reception and restaurant look like the church of the town.

One of our specialties is to make the visitor to feel not only to the hotel but the entire community like "your house". We propitiate the tourist's exchange with the inhabitants and particularly with the weavers and the artists in town.
Two families of the community who prepare healthy foods with a standard of good quality administer the restaurant of the hotel. They possess some specialties like for example the broth of the three meats.
