edition of the popular Lonely Planet travel guide reviews and
recommends Uxlabil Hotels in Antigua and Lake Atitlán.
That obeys to guest’s letters and messages to this prestigious
tourist information source.
Regarding
Antigua Hotel Museum it is part of the “Top End”
hotels of the guide in the Antigua section. It mentions the
eclectic “array of colonial and indigenous furnishing”
of this medium-sized hotel of two “lush patios”.
Lonely Planet suggest to visitors to tray to see the diversity
of styles in rooms and bathrooms. Lonely Planet do not mention
the word unique, but it almost suggest it. In fact, we are original.
In Lake
Atitlán, and specifically regarding San Juan La Laguna
section, “Uxlabil Eco Hotel is the best option in town,
with hand carved stone trimmings done by local craftsmen”.
It mentions the 2 acres of plantations and “the good swimming
dock”, as well as the possibility to arrange tours departing
from the hotel.
The last
edition of Le Guide de routard, published in France, makes an
especial review of Uxlabil Museum Hotel in Antigua, which they
consider “chic” and call the attention of readers
to the antique furniture in each of the rooms.
Rouhght
Guide, a guide oriented to backpackers with style, characterizes
Eco hotel Uxlabil Atitlan in very precise terms, mentioning
our strong linkage with the community. It orientates readers
on how to reach the hotel.
